This suggests that France has taken over from Spain as the favorite destination for second home owners. Apparently UK buyers are attracted by the perception of stability, limited house price decline and ease of access.
According to Savills and HomeAway, when choosing where to invest, UK buyers are most influenced by factors such as proximity to restaurants, bars and beaches and being in easy reach of airports.
